Full size foldable portable keybord?
http://www.handspring.com/company/pr/pr_think.jhtml This article is a review of one of the many foldable full size keyboards for hand held computers or PDAs (Personal Digital Assistants). It is the Stowaway™ keyboard designed for Handspring's Visor line of PDAs. It, as its name suggest, is foldable, weighs 7.9 ounces, made of glass-filled polycarbonate and aluminum, is, when unfolded, the same size as a laptop keyboard and when folded, no bigger then the PDA itself. The article discusses the problems of fast PDA input and how incredibly hard it is to type on the screen keyboard or learn to write out the little characters. As it happens, I own a Visor Deluxe, which I don't use as much as I should. I can attest to the fact that the thing is not easy to write on and for the last few months, I have been contemplating buying this keyboard to use with my Visor to write papers on. Its size, design, and portability, make it the perfect solution to one of my concentration problems, one that I am fact experiencing now, which is my mind does not like to see what it always sees. With this keyboard and my visor I could go and write papers for class in places that stimulated my mind and concentrate on what I am writing. The only thing that is stopping me is the price, which is about five hundred percent more expensive then a regular key board or $99.95. !
