Aren't we all tired of having to pull out our driver's license every time someone wants to identify us.  Wouldn't it be nice if someone could just scan a part of our body like a hand print or retinal scan.  Well this idea is actually in the midst of surfacing and becoming a part of the airport industry as stated by the article on the CNN web site.  What this eye scanner is suppose to do is make check-in time much faster for customers.  A scanner simply scans a passenger’s eye and identifies them as being there for departure.  If someone who hadn't purchased an airline ticket had their eye scanned, the system would not identify them.  This new technology would be a great convenience and would allow passengers not to have to show up to the airport an hour prior to boarding time.
