In the article “DSL on the Rise,”  by Darrin Woods from networkcomputing.com, he is stating that this type of line connection is becoming increasingly popular among businesses rather than previous use by home-use.  “For less than $100 a month, homes and small businesses could connect to the public network at speeds approaching DS-1 levels. Now DSL has grown to include voice and VPN services.”  Now everyone not connected to a LAN can have the same fast internet speed and can benefit from the great technology of the internet.
